It’s been freaking ages since I’ve done one of these. About a year. I’ve bought books since then, but these are just the ones I’ve picked up in the last couple of weeks. Thanks to Pan Macmillan for surprisingly me with a copy of Jaclyn Moriarty’s new book. I had barely finished reading A Corner Of White when this one rocked up in my PO Box, taunting me, trying to jump ahead in my tbr list. The rest are all from my regular trips to my local Big W’s book section. They’re probably the only one of the three Australia discount department stores chains I’ve found that still stocks a semi-decent range of YA. At least where I live.
I’m hearing good things about Disruption, so I’d like to check it out before it becomes another one of the unread books collecting dust on my shelves. Fangirl, I haven’t heard much about, but I did a quick Goodreads check in-store on my phone and all looked good so I added it to my shopping pile. And yes, you are seeing right, I did buy all four of the Bold And The Beautiful tv-show tie-in romance novels. $6 each, and based on my favourite scheming, angst-riddled soap, there really was no other choice.
That’s it for this time. Hopefully, it isn’t another year before my next book haul.

Big W are surprisingly good for YA in my area too, and with only one other decent book shop, they’re half the price too. Disruption looks incredible, I’ve seen nothing but praise for it so far, so looking forward to your thoughts. Happy reading your fabulous new beauties.

Fangirl is THE BEST!! I love it so much. (It’s probably one of my favourites for the year. xD) I wasn’t such a fan of the Jaclyn Moriarty books, but I’m pretty keen for Disrupted! That gold cover is sooo nice to look at too. x)

I’ve heard a lot of great things about Disruption too- and the premise sounds quite interesting. It’s so shiny haha
I have to say, the Big W where I live isn’t too great- they only seem to stock the really well known YA books like Divergent and VA and THG etc. I tend to get my books from Dymocks or online because they have a much bigger range.
I loved Fangirl and all of Rowell’s other books! Hope you enjoy your haul!

Great haul of books! I love Rainbow Rowell’s books but I still haven’t got a copy of Fangirl yet, need to do something about that! Green with envy that you have The Cracks In The Kingdom, I still haven’t bought a copy of a Corner of White yet and it’s been on my wishlist a long time.

I love heading into Big W and just loading up on books too. So much cheaper for a broke uni student. I really want to read Fangirl, it’s received soooo many positive reviews, so I want to know what the hype is about. Great stack Brett!
