Mouth-Watering Monday #4
Posted in "Meme: Mouth-Watering Monday" • 3 Comments

Mouth-Watering Monday is a new weekly meme started by Brittany at Nice Girls Read Books. As book bloggers, we love to admire pretty covers, old and new. This meme takes the guilt out of judging a book by its cover, instead embracing it and showing off our favourite finds of the week!

You can show off one or more of your most mouth-watering covers!

Elemental Reality by Cesya MaRae Cuono
Under The Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

I haven’t read either of these yet, but I have to say the covers are doing their job extremely well. Elemental Reality uses colours and light gorgeously. I don’t know how anyone could look at that and think that book could be boring. The girl does appear to have lost her legs somewhere along the way though. Under The Never Sky is a 2012 release so there’s still a fair wait for that one. I love the simplicity of this cover. The pink stands out stark against the white. Plus the embracing couple splayed out over the moon is a bit of change from the norm. The tattoo on the guy’s shoulder has a bit of intrigue to it too.

So I have to agree the Elemental Reality cover is gorgeous!

With Under The Never Sky – I do think this cover is unique and pink doesn’t seem to be common BUT, the hardcover version of the cover blows me away. I love the bright blue almost like lighting, and how fierce she looks, plus the title looks like its written in water which I ADORE!

    Two great picks though! 🙂

And to your comment on unwind – thank you for it 🙂 but, I don’t know if depressing is the word, but it’s definitely a “wtf” kind of book. Like a “wtf if that really happened in society” kind of thing.

  • Great picks! I’m really looking forward to Under the never sky when that comes out next year 🙂
