Stacking The Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. Team Human by Justine Larbalestier & Sarah Rees Brennan (purchased)
Kamikaze Boys by Jay Bell (won)
Before I Wake by Rachel Vincent (purchased/thanks to publisher)

So it’s been a few weeks, but I haven’t been getting many books lately–couple that with moving house again, and an utter lack of reading time that came with that and you end up with absence of things to post. I actually got both of those Before I Wake‘s the week before and moved it to the top of my pile. I really like that series–especially If I Die, so it was good to come back to Kaylee and her gang. I’ll probably be starting Team Human in the next few days. It’s co-author by Sarah Rees Brennan–one of my favourites–so I’m pretty excited to see what she’s come up with. A girl trying to stop her best friend from dating a vampire…yes, I wanna read that! Also, thanks to Jay Bell for sending me a signed copy of his book. It carries the pink theme along nicely. Anyway, that’s about it for me this week. Happy reading 😀

Deadly Hemlock by Kathleen Peacock (thanks to Publisher)
The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead (purchased)
Rapture by Lauren Kate (purchased)
Unrest by Michelle Harrison (thanks to Publisher)

Thanks to Simon and Schuster for the two paperbacks this week. Werewolves, and body snatching…sounds fun. I preordered The Golden Lily ages ago. It was a suprise when it arrived, actually. I still haven’t read beyond the first book of the Vampire Academy series so this one will end up waiting on my shelves for quite a while before I get around to it. Rapture, on the other hand, is one I’ve been waiting to get to. I’m really hoping it brings this series to an exciting close. It’s a hit and miss series for me, but I do love angels. So what did you pick up this week?

Dawn Of Darkness by Daniel A. Kaine (purchased)

I tried reading yesterday, but only got through about 80 pages of City Of Lost Souls before I got distracted and let procrastination take over the rest of my Saturday. I’m going to try and get back to it today, though. Just watching the PopAsia music video show at the moment, then time for reading. I’m really liking the cover for Shadow Bound, plus it’s a Rachel Vincent book, which is another big turn on–love her stuff. I’m hoping I can find time to read John Green’s book before it’s due back at the library, because I really loved The Fault In Our Stars. I haven’t read my copy of Torn yet, but I saw a heap of copies of Ascend on the end of a rack at the shops this week and grabbed myself one. I also got a tub of gummi bears as well, but that’s beside the point. Anyway, time to get back to my Sunday kpop. What did you get this week?

Hush Hush: Graphic Novel by Becca Fitzpatrick (purchased)
Kill Me Softly by Sarah Cross (purchased)
The Hunt by Andrew Fukuda (thanks to Publisher)
City Of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare (purchased)

I took a detour from my reading after I got stuck of Red Glove for over four weeks, so I decided not to post any of my book goodies until I got back into reviewing. I’ve since finished that book, as well as Endure. Neither particularly excited me, but I’m hoping City Of Lost Souls will fix that slump for me. Those books usually suck me back in. I was one of those that actually enjoyed the Simon focus last time around. With my bookshelves still packed away in storage, I’ve just got boxes of books shoved under my bed and now piles growing around the room. These have only added to that. Not that that’s a bad thing, I love getting more books. I just wish I had room to display them again.

Vampire Academy: Graphic Novel by Richelle Mead (purchased)
Frostbite: Graphic Novel by Richelle Mead (purchased)
Fury by Rebecca Lim (purchased)
Tiger’s Voyage by Colleen Houck (purchased)
The Industry by Rose Foster (purchased)

I stopped by a shopping centre on my lunch break last week and ended up walking out with another five books I wasn’t looking for. I saw the second Vampire Academy graphic novel was out so I decided to just pick them both up. I still have to read the actual Frostbite sometime though before I get into these. Fury and Tiger’s Voyage are both additions to series I’ve haven’t yet started on, but felt like grabbing for whenever I actually do. The last book, The Industry sounded like something different from the usual paranormal romances I keep getting sucked into, so it made it onto my stack too. I’m still reading Red Glove at the moment. I’ve been on it for over a week, but just haven’t gotten the same connection I had with the first book. I’m hoping to finish it in the next day or so though.
